Our promise to you.

At NovaCarats, we are committed to exceptional quality and craftsmanship. Every piece is carefully created using premium materials and expertly crafted to ensure lasting beauty and durability. To reflect our confidence in our jewellery, all engagement rings and ceremonial pieces are backed by our Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Our Lifetime Warranty covers manufacturing and craftsmanship defects under normal wear. It also covers the optical properties of certified lab-grown diamonds and moissanite gemstones, including their brilliance, fire, lustre, clarity, and colour.

In the unlikely event of a craftsmanship-related issue, such as a defective setting or manufacturing fault, NovaCarats will inspect the piece and, if covered under warranty, repair or replace it at no additional cost.

Our warranty also protects against any unlikely changes to the optical characteristics of your certified lab-grown diamond or moissanite gemstone, ensuring your stone maintains its original beauty and performance.

If you believe your jewellery qualifies for a warranty claim, please contact our customer support team to arrange an assessment. Following inspection, any damage resulting from improper care, accidental damage, misuse, alterations by third parties, or normal wear and tear may be repaired at the customer's expense.

Please note that while approved warranty repairs are completed free of charge, shipping, insurance, and transit costs associated with sending your jewellery to and from our workshop are not covered under this warranty.

Minor signs of everyday wear, including light scratches or surface marks on the metal.

Damage caused by improper use, accidental impact, neglect, or inadequate care, including corrosion, bent settings, chipped or cracked gemstones, discoloration, or similar issues.

Loss of gemstones resulting from damage or wear that was not addressed promptly after it became noticeable.

Loss, theft, or misplacement of your jewelry piece.

Any repairs, modifications, resizing, maintenance, or alterations carried out by a jeweler other than NovaCarats, unless previously approved in writing by our team, will void this warranty.

This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and cannot be transferred to another owner.

Proof of purchase must be retained and presented when making a warranty claim.

To help maintain the beauty and integrity of your jewelry, NovaCarats recommends a professional inspection and maintenance service once every year. Regular servicing ensures that gemstones, settings, and metal components remain secure and in excellent condition.

To keep your warranty active, proof of annual servicing must be provided within 12 months of receiving your jewelry. Failure to complete and document the recommended maintenance within this timeframe may result in the warranty becoming invalid.

To make a warranty claim, please contact NovaCarats and provide:

• Clear photos of the issue

All claims are subject to inspection and approval by our jewelry specialists. Repair or replacement decisions are made at the sole discretion of NovaCarats.

Customers are responsible for shipping costs when sending items to NovaCarats. Return shipping for approved repairs or replacements may be covered by NovaCarats or charged to the customer.

SHIPPING

Complimentary express insured shipping.

Expect Domestic Orders to be delivered within 1-3 business. Once your piece is crafted, you will be notified when your order has been shipped, and provided with details on how to track your delivery.

Expect International Orders to be delivered within 5-7 business days. Once your piece is crafted, you will be notified when your order has been shipped, and provided with details on how to track your delivery.

Duties & Import Taxes

Import duties and taxes may apply for international shipments outside of USA.

Any customs duties, taxes, import fees, or other charges imposed by local authorities are the responsibility of the customer.

NovaCarats is not responsible for refunds if an order is refused due to unpaid customs charges or import fees. If a parcel is returned to us for this reason, any additional shipping costs required to resend the order will be the responsibility of the customer.

International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, and import fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are determined by local customs authorities and are the responsibility of the customer.

As import regulations vary by country, NovaCarats recommends contacting your local customs office for information on any potential charges before placing an order.

If duties, taxes, or customs fees are not paid, your shipment may be delayed, returned, or abandoned by the carrier. NovaCarats cannot be held responsible for any resulting costs, delays, or losses.

If you are returning your jewelry to NovaCarats from another country for repair, servicing, or a warranty claim, please clearly mark the shipment as "Returned Goods for Service or Repair" on all customs and shipping documents.

As customs regulations vary between countries, any duties, taxes, import fees, or handling charges incurred during transit remain the responsibility of the sender. Incorrect or incomplete customs declarations may result in delays, additional charges, or delivery issues.

To help ensure a smooth return process, we recommend checking the correct shipping and customs requirements with your local postal or courier provider before sending your item.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

We journey with you.

NovaCarats offers a 30-day exchange period on eligible Ready-to-Wear Rings. To qualify for an exchange, the item must be unworn, undamaged, and returned in its original condition, including all packaging and accompanying documentation.

We encourage customers to carefully review all product details, specifications, and sizing information before placing an order. If you have any questions, our team is always available to provide guidance and assistance to help you make the right choice before purchasing.

Nothing in this policy affects your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

If you choose to cancel your order after purchase but before receiving your CAD, a cancellation fee of $1,000 will apply. Once the CAD has been approved, order cancellations are strictly not permitted.

COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN

Your computer aided design.

To provide you with the utmost assurance with your bespoke or custom ring, we create and provide you a CAD (computer aided design), which is received typically within 1-2 weeks from purchase.

If you do not approve your design within 3 days, we proceed with crafting as per the original CAD design. Amendments to your order can be made before the CAD approval. Once you have approved your CAD or exceeded the 3 day approval period, no further changes to your order can be made.

A CAD (Computer-Aided Design) fee may apply for design requests involving jewelry that was not originally purchased from NovaCarats. This fee covers the time and resources required to create and prepare custom design concepts.

IN-HOUSE PAYMENT PLAN

Our interest-free In-House Payment Plan, making your dream piece, even more attainable.

To begin the creation of your custom piece and before your Computer-Aided Design (CAD) is prepared, a 50% deposit is required. The remaining balance must be paid once your piece has been completed.

After full payment has been received, a member of the NovaCarats team will contact you within 1–3 business days to arrange delivery or collection of your order.

CRAFTING TIMEFRAMES

Always, crafted in USA.

Please note, the crafting timeframe selected at the time of your purchase is unchangeable. Crafting timeframes are not inclusive of closure periods, public holidays, or the time required for shipping or collection from our showrooms. Ensure the selected timeframe aligns with your desired completion date.

While we strive to complete every order within the estimated production timeframe, occasional delays may occur due to factors beyond our control. If this happens, NovaCarats will notify you as soon as possible and provide an updated completion estimate.

Please note that quoted production timelines do not include time required for design approvals, CAD revisions, customer response times, or shipping and delivery transit times.

RESIZING

Your perfect ring size.

We want to ensure your ring fits perfectly. If your ring is not the correct size, we offer one complimentary resize within the first 6 months of receiving your ring, up or down to a maximum of 2 sizes.

If your ring needs to be resized beyond 2 sizes, an additional resizing charge may apply. Pricing starts from $100 USD, depending on the complexity of the adjustment.

Ring Resizing Fees

Resize Up (0–2 Sizes) – $150 USD
Resize Up (2–4 Sizes) – $250 USD
Resize Down (0–2 Sizes) – $100 USD
Resize Down (2–4 Sizes) – $150 USD

Please note that resizing costs vary based on the amount of adjustment required and the design of the ring. Our team will review your request and confirm any applicable fees before proceeding.

Due to the unique craftsmanship and detailed settings of certain ring styles, resizing may only be possible within a limited range to preserve the ring’s durability, appearance, and long-term wearability.

Pavé Band Rings: May be resized up to 4 sizes larger or up to 2.5 sizes smaller.

Shared Prong Marquise & Round Bands: May be resized up to 2.5 sizes larger only.

All resizing requests are subject to a professional inspection. If a resize could compromise the ring’s structure, stone security, or overall integrity, we may be unable to perform the service and will discuss alternative options with you.

Please note that Zirconium men's rings are excluded from our complimentary resizing program.

Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping their ring to NOVACARATS for any resizing service. Once the resizing has been completed, return shipping charges will apply and will be invoiced prior to dispatch.

Return Shipping Fees

Domestic U.S. Shipping: $20 USD
International Shipping: $50 USD

RING SERVICING

Our complimentary lifetime servicing.

Our complimentary lifetime servicing is inclusive of a thorough inspection, professional clean, polish as well as prong tightening, if required. This is applicable to all of all of our engagement rings, ceremonial rings and fine jewellery pieces.

We are pleased to offer complimentary engraving on all engagement and wedding rings when requested during the initial design process before your order is finalized.

If you would like to add engraving after your ring has been completed, an engraving service fee of $60 USD will apply. Requests to modify or replace an existing engraving will also incur a $60 USD fee to cover the removal and re-engraving process.

Please note that engraving options for certain ring styles and metals may be limited. Once the final design has been approved and production has begun, engraving requests may no longer be available on select materials. Additionally, some metals cannot be engraved after manufacturing due to their unique composition and finishing process.

White gold jewelry is coated with rhodium to create its bright, reflective white finish. Over time, normal wear can cause the rhodium layer to gradually fade, revealing the natural color of the white gold underneath. To maintain its original shine and appearance, rhodium plating may need to be refreshed periodically.

NOVACARATS offers professional rhodium plating services starting at $100 USD. Please note that rhodium plating is a routine maintenance service and is not permanent. The lifespan of the plating can vary based on factors such as daily wear, contact with chemicals, skincare products, and individual body chemistry.

We recommend reapplying rhodium plating as needed to keep your white gold jewelry looking its brightest and most beautiful.

To keep your warranty active, your jewelry piece must be professionally inspected and serviced by NOVACARATS at least once every 12 months from the date of purchase. Regular inspections help ensure that your jewelry remains in excellent condition and that any potential issues are identified early.

Failure to complete the recommended annual inspection and provide proof of service may result in the warranty becoming void and no longer eligible for coverage.

The customer is to cover all shipping costs for both complimentary servicing and repairs.

All photographs, videos, product renderings, designs, graphics, and other visual content displayed on the NOVACARATS website, social media channels, and marketing materials are the exclusive intellectual property of NOVACARATS.

By purchasing from or interacting with NOVACARATS, you acknowledge and agree that NOVACARATS may photograph, record, publish, and use images or videos of its products, custom creations, and related content for promotional, marketing, advertising, educational, and editorial purposes without additional notice or compensation.

All content, including product images, videos, logos, branding elements, website content, and design concepts, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorized copying, reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial use of any NOVACARATS content is strictly prohibited without prior written permission.
